Turin

Marathon

It’s back, and we thank all the runners for their loyalty and their superb results, which make this one of the fastest courses in Italy. An international event which has become part of the history of major professional competitions and which every year attracts thousands of participants from all over the world. Many runners who have taken part highlight an essential feature of the event: Turin has the most exciting and picturesque finishing line of all Italian marathons. The jubilant crowds in the magnificent setting of Via Roma are an extraordinary welcome for those who cross the finish line of a race that tests even the most experienced runners. The FIDAL-certified course departs from the city centre and traverses the urban areas of Turin, Moncalieri, Nichelino and Beinasco. The event is part of the calendar of national competitions organised by the Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL), and will also return to the international calendar of the AIMS – the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races.
Torino City Marathon Village is an outdoor showcase lasting 3 days (Friday to race day on Sunday) that will host partners and sponsors representing the very best of the region in a setting where runners, supporters and citizens can discover local products in an “obligatory” route in direct contact with producers. The Village is an obligatory stop for all race participants, who must pass through it to collect their race bibs, event packs and other dedicated services. The location of the village is always carefully chosen and strategic. There is also a programme of talks and informative sessions covering topics related to sport, movement and wellbeing.
For three days, the city is steeped in the spirit of the Torino City Marathon, which brings together the sporting element – with 3 races involving 6,000 people, including internationally renowned runners – and the Village, which illustrates the world surrounding running and healthy living, with numerous events and products presented by partners and sponsors. It’s an opportunity to experience the city in complete safety (the route is totally closed to traffic), offering a day dedicated to outdoor fitness.
